that comes from our experience and expertise. Our gas leakage
survey program includes full project coordination with an
emphasis on communication, quality assurance, customer service,
and above all safety.
The purpose of the survey is to inspect any portion of a gas
system in accordance with federal, state, and customer
guidelines and to ensure compliance, system operation,
and public safety.
Surveys conducted include:
The survey provides coverage of mains and services above and
below ground. The survey is conducted along the route of the
pipeline, sampling the atmosphere at ground level.
When a leakage indication is detected, it is verified by
performing a subsurface survey and the leakage area is
confirmed, centered, and classified using a combustible gas
indicator (CGI). A Leakage Report will be prepared for each
confirmed location and turned into the customer daily. In
addition to this report, a daily summary will be compiled
listing all leakage locations and will also be turned into the
customer daily.
Summary reports will be furnished weekly to the customer
providing updates on the status of surveys as well a summary of
all leaks detected for the week. Upon completion of the survey,
a final report will
be compiled and given to the customer.
